Application Recommendations:

• Young Durian Trees (Non-Fruiting):

  • Rate: 0.5–2 kg per tree per year, divided into 3–4 applications.
  • Focus on vegetative growth and root establishment.

• Mature Fruiting Trees:

  • Rate: 2–5 kg per tree per year, divided into 3–4 applications.
  • Apply more during flowering and fruit development stages.

• Timing:

  • Vegetative Stage: Apply evenly around the canopy drip line.
  • Flowering/Fruiting Stage: Focus on nutrient needs for flower initiation and fruit set.

• Method of Application:

  • Spread fertilizer evenly in a circular band around the canopy drip line (not at the tree trunk).
  • Water thoroughly after application to ensure nutrients reach the root zone.
